The Bonsai Huisie, Presents FREE WORKSHOP held once a month on the 1st Saturday of every month. Time 09h00 to 13h00. Just pitch up and you will get all the help you need.

The number 1 RULE: Water your trees when the soil gets slightly dry.

Over the years many styles to classify Bonsai trees have been developed, most of them closely resembling the natural circumstances. These styles are somewhat open to personal interpretation and creativity, meaning that trees do not necessarily need to strictly conform to a style. However, the styles are important to gain a basic understanding of Bonsai shapes and serve as guidelines to successfully train miniature trees.

This part of the website will give you detailed information about the Bonsai styles; use the menu on your left to navigate through the pages
